Eastern Mosaic (on SABC 2) is filming a feature on Oriental Fire and we met up with them yesterday. They filmed our Aishwarya Rai medley on the gorgeous stage of Linder Auditorium, (which, may I mention, is NOT at Wits’ Campus but at Wits’ Educational Campus, a lesson we learned through trial and error, Heh).

We did interviews in which we got to talk about our love for all things Bollywood and Belly Dance, how we got into this style of dance, the Belly Dance community in SA and how Bollywood is making a presence at our community functions (YAY!) and our driving force which motivates and inspires us which is our charity work with www.familycaresa.com and www.thefamilyafrica.com.

We also performed 3 of our songs in Melrose Arch square which was really fun as it was after the first game of the World Cup Rugby, Ben from The Covers came and did our sound which made such a difference!

They have no idea when it will be aired but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we find out.
