We were so honoured to be a part of Shashika’s tribute show to her dad who passed away a month ago. She had his favourite performers from Zee TV’s Pavithra Rishta, Nadkarni Usha Ravindra (Savita Tai) and Mrinalini Tyagi (Teju) perform.
We choreographed a new medley to dance with Teju which we filmed for her to learn. It turned out amazingly well for having only 2 run throughs with her before the show and the crowd loved it! Shashika Mooruth and Suraj Jewan sang beautifully a great mix of old and new songs and lots of my personal favourites including Kal Ho Naa Ho. It was so lovely meeting them as well as guest artists Hussein Valley, Akrum Amod, our good friend Fakir Hassen and the lovely hostess Zakia Ahmed!
